About Us

The Maine Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health and Well-being is working to expand
statewide access to high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health programs for youth and families.

Our Vision

Across the state, the Maine COE is working to train and support a behavioral health workforce that can help families create strong relationships, community connections, and resilient social/emotional skills.

Our Purpose

The Maine COE serves as a connection between the Office of Behavioral Health, direct service providers, and youth/parents/families to translate evidence-based approaches to action throughout the state and support the workforces capacity to deliver them effectively.

Provides subject matter expertise and strategic direction in children’s behavioral health services and systems development and support.

Leads the planning, management, and provision of training and technical assistance to support the implementation of Evidence-Based Practices. Works closely with the Evaluation Lead, the Local Coaches, the Project Director, and the TA/Training team.

Leads the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive communication plans to effectively support the goals of the Center of Excellence (COE). He oversees the execution of communication initiatives to drive engagement and achieve desired outcomes.

Leads evaluation and continuous quality improvement activities, data collection tool development, and assists with the analysis of findings. Contributes to evaluation and data reports, and other dissemination materials.
